Özet:

Domestic TV series, which are frequently the subject of individuals daily life practices, are not only watched, but also thought about, influenced and shared on various channels, especially social networking platforms, with the developing mass media. Each year, many new productions with different topics start broadcasting, and the series Bahar stands out from the others due to its characters and important messages for women. Bahar, which achieved high ratings from the first episode to the season finale, was followed with interest by women with its remarkable story in which female viewers living in this geography could find a piece of their own lives. The fact that the series focused on the daily lives, problems and struggles of women played a major role in the preference of Bahar and its high ratings. Bahar, the first episode of which aired on Show TV on January 13, 2024, became one of the most followed TV series in Turkey in terms of subject and content. In this study, the series Bahar broadcast on Show TV on Tuesdays will be analyzed in order to determine how the audience interprets the content presented by televisions. In the research, it will be tried to determine how the viewers decode the codings in the series.

Bu çalışmada, izler kitlenin televizyon dizilerinde sunulan içerikleri nasıl yorumladığını tespit emek amacıyla Show TVde salı günleri yayınlanan Bahar dizisi analiz edilecektir. Araştırmada kadın izleyicilerin dizideki kodlamaların kod açımlarını nasıl yaptıkları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; katılımcıların çoğunluğu egemen okuma biçimi gerçekleştirirken bazıları müzakereci okuma biçimi göstermiştir.
