Özet:

Kalemişi; It is one of our art branches dating back centuries. It is an element of ornamentation used in interior and exterior spaces of architectural structures. It is the most widespread of our art branches extending from Central Asia to Anatolia. Today, restoration and conservation studies have gained importance in this art branch that has been practiced for centuries. In todays developing kalemişi applications and restoration works, old and new materials have started to be used together. Our educational institutions need to give priority to developing technological materials. Another important stage is the production of these materials locally. It is necessary to share the use and results of new materials in restoration works for correct use. In addition to the local formulas inherited from fathers and masters, it is beneficial for artists engaged in restoration and conservation work to use new technological materials. Following the developments in the field of canvas in restoration in our art and using them in our kalemişi works will be the test of traditional arts with new developing technologies.
