Özet:

Iran is an important country in terms of Middle Eastern and world politics. For Turkey, it has a special position in terms of being a neighboring country and Turkeys interlocutor in many regions, including Syria and Iraq. For this reason, the issue of what kind of person was elected as the President of this country is of particular importance. As a result of the strategies he implemented and the messages he gave during his election campaign, Masoud Pezeshkian managed to bring most of the Iranian voters to the polls and receive their votes. This study examines the election campaign conducted by Masoud Pezeshkian, who was elected as the President of Iran, and sheds light on new practices that may develop in Iran, albeit limited. In the study, Pezeshkians election campaign theme, messages, strategies he followed and approaches to problems are evaluated through the materials he used and the messages he gave during the campaign. Within the scope of the study, visual materials were examined using semiotics and written and verbal materials were examined using discourse analysis.
