Özet:

Ethem Nejat is one of the leading intellectuals of the Second Constitutional Era. Ethem Nejat, who worked at various levels of the education bureaucracy, pioneered the publication of some journals and newspapers that left their mark on the period, and voluntarily participated in the Battle of Gallipoli with a group of students and fellow teachers, followed the Turkist thought until 1918, and the socialist thought from 1918 on. In the years he was a Turkist, he wrote several articles and books as well as some stories. In other words, although Ethem Nejat is mostly known as an educator and politician today, there is also a literary identity of Ethem Nejat. These stories can be evaluated within the framework of National Literature aesthetics in terms of both content and form. In these, a propagandist attitude on the axis of Turkism clearly shows itself. Two of the stories in question, the most voluminous ones that were published in book format at the time Çiftlik Müdürü and Yiğit Türkler, had recently been interpreted and compiled in a work entitled Ütopik Hikâyeler. In this article, other stories, namely the short ones and published in magazines O Zengin ve Mesut Oldu, Kahraman Nuri, Bal Bahçesi and Zengin Böcekçi were interpreted and compiled.

Ethem Nejat, II.
