Özet:

Efforts to determine the value of action and what the right action is have been an important issue accompanying human intellectual history. In the Ancient period, this problem was tried to be solved through the relationship established between good, reason, and politics. However, the modern periods conceptualization of the good, reason, and politics, and the role of philosophy in this conceptualization have been found problematic by liberal, communitarian, postmodern thought, and Badios philosophy of equality. These thoughts have determined that modernity rendered the elements it took from the Ancient period dysfunctional because it detached them from their historical and social context, that the method it used to put this heritage on a new ground complicated the problem, and that the results of the method made it difficult to combat the problems by returning the results of the method to general assumptions. This attitude of modern thought appears as a crisis in all situations that it associates with ethics. At the center of the crisis lies the fact that an ethical value has no function other than masking political relations. The study tried to explain this situation through the climate change policies and the war situation that occupy global politics.
