Özet:

With the purpose of determining the observed angular widths of the active right arm\'s shoulder and elbow joints in the basic bow movements while playing the violin, 11 subjects were randomly selected to carry out an experimental study. In the research, “goniometer” and a standart complete violin and bow were used to collect the data. Mean, standard deviation and range of these collected data were determined. Within which angular widths shoulder and elbow joints moved in two parts of the bow in the basic bow movements was identified quantitatively and these findings were compared to the movement properties of the joints. This research suggests doing similar studies to “establish the assessable physical bases” of the body structures used in playing, which determines in a sense the playing quality.

Bu araştırmadan hareketle benzeri çalışmalar yapılarak, -çalma kalitesinde bir anlamda belirleyici olan- çWith the purpose of determining the observed angular widths of the active right arm\'s shoulder and elbow joints in the basic bow movements while playing the violin, 11 subjects were randomly selected to carry out an experimental study.
