Özet:

Prayer is one of the fundamental acts of worship in Islam. It is also the most beautiful expression of respect and submission to Allah. The Holy Quran did not go into detail about how to perform prayer and left the details on this topic to the Prophet. Because the Messenger of Allah said, Perform prayer like my prayer you see. In this regard, it is important to determine how the Prophet performed his prayers. And this is also learned from the narrations of the companions. Although not in the basic pillars, there are some differences in the narrations narrated from the Messenger of Allah regarding the performance of prayer. These differences are more clearly observed in places such as the al-Masjid al-Haram and the Masjid al-Nabi. One of these different practices is related to the issue of whether or not the hands are tied during standing at prayer qiyām and the nature of tying. It is also fact that these differences due to from the narrations and their interpretations. In this study, the narrations about whether or not the hands should be tied during qiyam, and if so, the nature of tying the hands will be evaluated in terms of hadith technique with the inductive method. While doing this, all the narrations reached on the subject will be evaluated without any work or time limitation. As far as can be seen, the narrati-ons provide flexibility regarding where and how the hands are to be tied during qiyām.

Hz.
