 In todays world, where everything changes very quickly, peoples thoughts, attitudes and behaviors keep up with this speed. Thoughts and decisions in education life, business life, social life, political field, especially on personalprivate issues; It can be constantly updated with the influence of the immediate environment and especially the mass media. The political preferences of people, which they care about with the expectation of creating a better living environment, also get their share from the interaction that occurs due to environmental effects. This influence or change can manifest itself in different dimensions in various business and social groups. It is an important issue which factors and to what extent the influence is. The fact that the media is an effective area for political communication studies brings the attention of politicians to it. The aim of this research is to determine to what extent the media and external factors play a role in the voting behavior of workers working in medium and large enterprises. According to the study in which the opinions of the workers were collected by the survey method; It has been revealed that the media and public opinion polls play a role in the political preferences of the workers, whereas the political preference of the family is not very effective in the voting behavior of the workers. In addition, in the study, it was revealed that the candidate himself and the candidates party were effective on the voting behavior of the workers, and it was understood that the men participating in the research considered the probability of the candidate winning the election more when voting compared to the women.

 Her şeyin çok hızlı değiştiği günümüz dünyasında insanların düşünce, tutum ve davranışları da bu hıza ayak uydurmaktadır. Başta kişiselözel konularda olmak üzere, eğitim hayatında, iş hayatında, sosyal yaşamda, siyasi alandaki düşünceler ve kararlar; yakın çevrenin ve özellikle kitle iletişim araçlarının da etkisiyle sürekli güncellenebilmektedir. Kişilerin, daha iyi bir yaşam ortamı oluşturulması beklentisiyle üzerinde hassasiyetle durdukları siyasi tercihleri de çevresel etkilere bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan etkileşimden nasibini almaktadır. Bu etkilenme veya değişim, çeşitli iş ve sosyal gruplarda farklı boyutlarda kendini gösterebilmektedir. Etkilenmenin hangi unsurlardan ve ne boyutta olduğu önem arz eden bir konudur. Siyasal iletişim çalışmaları için medyanın etkili bir alan oluşturması ise siyasilerin ilgisinin onun üzerinde olmasını beraberinde getirmektedir. Medya bireyin oy verme kararının oluşmasında etkili bir pozisyonda yer alabilmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, orta ve büyük ölçekli işletmelerde çalışan işçilerin oy kullanma davranışlarında medya ve dış faktörlerin rolünün ne ölçüde olduğunu saptamaya çalışmaktır. Anket tekniğiyle işçilerin görüşlerinin toplandığı çalışmaya göre; medyanın ve kamuoyu araştırmalarının işçilerin siyasi tercihlerinde rol oynadığı, buna karşın ailenin siyasal tercihinin işçilerin oy kullanma davranışlarında pek etkili olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca, araştırmada, işçilerin oy verme davranışı üzerinde adayın kendisi ve adayın partisinin etkili olduğu ortaya çıkmış, araştırmaya katılan erkeklerin, kadınlara oranla oy kullanırken adayın seçimi kazanma ihtimalini daha fazla göz önünde bulundurdukları anlaşılmıştır.
