Özet:

Including Onat Kutlar, the 50 generation forms the beginning of the modernist approach in Turkish story. Storytellers of this generation commence to publish their texts under the influence of trends originating from modernism such as existentialism, surrealism andor magical realism. In addition, the generations writers attempt Kafkas wording of reality-bending style, called Kafkaesque in their stories. These styles and trends are chosen to reflect what is wanted to be told to the reader in a more striking and unusual way. Onat Kutlar, on the other hand, by taking the surrealistic discourse one step further and creates a magical atmosphere in his stories. In particular, in his nine stories in İshak, which is his first book and reflects efficiency of his twenty-year-old, he, by creating a magicalfairytale-like halo, tells the life course of ordinary people who are depressed, want to escape, and aim to get rid of the monotony of life, with abstract touches. There is absurdity from time to time in the stories and polysemy creates the structure of the fiction. In addition, Kutlar, who makes animals surreal by personifying them, takes care to use the psychological predicates of the outer space surrounding the fiction. In this article, after mentioning the general identity of the 50th generation Turkish storytelling and focusing on Onat Kutlars understanding of story, In this article, the dimensions of realitysurrealistic elements, existential themes, people at breaking points and experiencing the normal, the soul-enveloping place, authentic symbols and conflicts in struggle in the story of Kediler will be examined.
