Özet:

Abū ʿUbayd al-Qāsim b. Sallām was one of the earliest Islamic scholars to contribute significantly to various fields of knowledge, including the Qurān, qirāāt Quranic recitation, hadīth, fiqh, grammar nahw, history, and creed ʿaqāʾid. Abū ʿUbayds works and views in the field of Qurān and recitation, which are among these branches of science, hold particular significance. Qāsim b. Sallām is one of the qirāāt scholars who created his own qirāāt with his preferences and influenced Islamic scholars in later periods. Abū ʿUbayd made opinions and explanations on many issues of the history of the Qurān and qirāāt that were considered problematic. In this study, Qāsim b. Sallām views on many issues such as qirāāts, disputes between mushafs, the relationship between qirāāt and mushaf, seven letters, and naskh have been analyzed. On the other hand, the existence of the seven letters in the Qurān, which is one of the important issues of the science of qirāāt, and their views and comments on Arabic dialects and saz qirāāts were analyzed. Abū ʿUbayd classified his qirāāts as qirāāts on which ijmāʿ was formed and those on which ijmāʿ was formed. However, Abū ʿUbayd also classified the qirāāts from a different point of view as those that conform to the official mushaf and those that do not, and pointed out the function of the official mushaf in determining the qirāāts. The issues that form the basis of Abū ʿUbayds qirāāts in this way were determined and analyzed.
