Özet:

After the National Struggle, the Lausanne Peace Treaty was the most important document that confirmed Turkeys independence in the international arena. The articles in the main text of the treaty signed in Lausanne pointed to a great deal of diplomatic information and documents that resolved or attempted to resolve the issues that came up in the regulation of interstate relations during the establishment phase of the new Turkish state and the issues that concerned them. The agreements, protocols and declarations that are outside the main text of the Treaty of Lausanne and related to the text also have a different importance. These related documents have been instrumental in determining a way and method for the matters contained in the treaty. Furthermore, the mutual recording and determination of the information that draws a road map and elaborates the basic points in the content of the treaty, such as the Straits problem, the determination of the borders, the confirmation of the regulations in the field of trade and jurisdiction, and the realization of the exchange in a certain order, with the states that are parties to the aforementioned problems have a special place.
