Özet:

Palestine, which remained under Ottoman rule for many years in peace, came under British rule after World War I. From that date on, Palestine, which left its old peaceful days behind, became the center of pain, sorrow, and grief. With the establishment of the State of Israel in Palestinian lands with the support of Western powers, Palestines suffering, whose troubles increased, attracted the attention of many circles and did not escape the attention of Arab writers. Indeed, Arab novelists who touched on the Palestinian issue in dozens of works they wrote and called resistance novels, brought the mentioned issue to the agenda of literary circles with these initiatives and attracted the attention of many people. One of the Arab novelists who mentioned such an issue in his work is Basim Handekchi. Handekchi, who touched on the troubles arising from the Palestinian issue in his novel Kināun bi Levnis-Semā, wrote the important novel mentioned. This article, which is considered important in its field, touches on how the Palestinian issue is seen from Handekchis literary window in detail. In this context, the problems stemming from the Palestinian issue and how these problems affect the Palestinians have been approached from different perspectives. The Palestinian Issue, which has become a major political and social wound, has been seen to have a significant impact on modern Arabic literature circles, as well as all sensitive circles on a global scale. The literary works on Palestine written by the relevant circles in this sense clearly demonstrate this situation.
