Özet:

As a result of the rapid and distorted construction, the environments are changing rapidly. For historical buildings that struggle to become permanent over time, change is a more important situation that may pose a danger in terms of their sustainability compared to other structures. In a situation where change is constantly experienced as a result of time, it is important for the continuity of cities to notice the change, to think about its consequences and to use it positively. Gülbahar Hatun Mosque is important in terms of being the first and largest Ottoman structure built after the conquest of Trabzon by Fatih Sultan Mehmet. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the effects of the change in the city on the mosque by examining the changes in the vicinity of Gülbahar Hatun Mosque, in the parcel and in the building scale in chronological order. For this purpose, a detailed literature study was carried out, written and visual sources related to the mosque and its immediate surroundings, the archives, maps of the area were scanned in the database, and all analyzed information was arranged in a chronological order.
