 Objective: To investigate body awareness and attitudes and behaviors towards physical activity in first and final year physiotherapy and rehabilitation students by compring them according to class level, gender, and regular exercise status. Materials and Methods: A total of 129 undergraduate physiotherapy and rehabilitation students 68 first-year and 61 final-year were included. All participants completed the Body Awareness Questionnaire and the Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness-II to assess body awareness and the Cognitive Behavioral Physical Activity Questionnaire to evaluate attitudes and behaviors towards physical activity. Results: When compared by class level, first-year students scored higher on the attention regulation dimension of the Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness-II and the total and subdimension scores of the Cognitive Behavioral Physical Activity Questionnaire p0.05. Female students scored higher than males on the not-distracting and emotional awareness dimensions of the Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness-II p0.05. Regarding regular exercise status, students who exercised regularly had higher scores on the attention regulation, self-regulation, and body listening dimensions of the Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness-II, as well as the total and subdimension scores of Cognitive Behavioral Physical Activity Questionnaire p0.05. Weak to moderate correlations were observed between Body Awareness Questionnaire and Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness-II scores, and Cognitive Behavioral Physical Activity Questionnaire scores p0.05. Conclusion: Body awareness and attitudes and behaviors towards physical activity were found to be higher in favor of first-year students, female students, and those who regularly exercised. Additionally, significant correlations ranging from weak to moderate were found between body awareness dimensions and attitudes and behaviors towards physical activity.

 Amaç: Fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon bölümü birinci sınıf ve son sınıf öğrencilerinin vücut farkındalığı ve fiziksel aktiviteye ilişkin tutum ve davranışlarını, sınıf düzeyine, cinsiyete ve düzenli egzersiz yapma durumuna göre karşılaştırarak incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: 129 fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon lisans öğrencisi 68 birinci sınıf ve 61 son sınıf dahil edildi. Tüm katılımcılara vücut farkındalığını değerlendirmek için Vücut Farkındalığı Anketi ve Çok Boyutlu Bedensel Farkındalık Değerlendirmesi-II anketi ve fiziksel aktiviteye ilişkin tutum ve davranışları değerlendirmek için Bilişsel Davranışçı Fiziksel Aktivite Ölçeği uygulandı. Bulgular: Sınıf düzeyine göre karşılaştırıldığında, Çok Boyutlu Bedensel Farkındalık Değerlendirmesi-IInin dikkati düzenleme boyutu ve Bilişsel Davranışçı Fiziksel Aktivite Ölçeğinin total ve alt boyutları birinci sınıflar lehine yüksekti p0,05. Kadın öğrencilerde erkek öğrencilere göre Çok Boyutlu Bedensel Farkındalık Değerlendirmesi-IInin dikkati dağıtmamak ve duygusal farkındalık boyutları daha yüksekti p0,05. Düzenli egzersiz yapma durumuna göre karşılaştırıldığında Çok Boyutlu Bedensel Farkındalık Değerlendirmesi-IInin dikkati düzenleme, öz-düzenleme ve bedeni dinlemek boyutları ve Bilişsel Davranışçı Fiziksel Aktivite Ölçeğinin total ve alt boyutları egzersiz yapan öğrenciler lehine yüksekti p0,05. Vücut Farkındalığı Anketi ve Çok Boyutlu Bedensel Farkındalık Değerlendirmesi-II skorları, Bilişsel Davranışçı Fiziksel Aktivite Ölçeği skorları ile zayıftan ortaya değişen şiddette korelasyon gösterdi p0,05. Sonuç: Vücut farkındalığı ve fiziksel aktiviteye ilişkin tutum ve davranışların birinci sınıflar, kadın öğrenciler ve düzenli egzersiz yapan öğrenciler lehine yüksek olduğu görüldü. Ayrıca, vücut farkındalığının boyutları ile fiziksel aktiviteye ilişkin tutum ve davranışlar arasında zayıftan ortaya değişen şiddette anlamlı ilişki bulundu.
