Özet:

This study examines the transformation process of dramatic staging approachesone of the staging methods used to ensure both the preservation and accurate transmission of folk dances to future generations in the right way, which are part of our intangible cultural heritage, and their adaptation into a stage art performance. The importance of progressing with the correct techniques in the convergence of what is traditional with the contemporary is emphasized, and the necessary features to achieve this are discussed. In this context, it is appropriate first to consider the qualities sought in staging practices, and then to examine the characteristics of the dramatic element and how it is processed in choreographies. In the design that constitutes the visual and auditory whole of the stage adaptation, the organizational form, musical form, and structural form of the dances should be analyzed to provide a source for original works. To provide a holistic description of the dance, its segments, and functional rules should be identified, the unit elements of the dance should be meaningfully defined, and an understanding of how the movement values in the original pattern structure balance each other should be reached. Subsequently, new sentences that ensure form-content harmony should be created by utilizing stage design elements within the context of a story and theme. Steps should transform into narrators with narrative value, and dances and their sequences should evolve into a story with social and intellectual significance. This approach can result in works that keep the interest of todays audience alive and facilitate their engagement with culture.
