Özet:

The Organization of Turkic States is turning into a strategic integration that is increasingly effective in the Eurasian geography. The importance of regional integrations is increasing in the ever-changing structure of the international system. States are in an effort to maximize their interests through many organizations such as the European Union, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The Organization of Turkic States, as a regional organization, is a very important formation for the Turkic World. The interaction of the Turkic World started with small steps after the collapse of the Soviet Union and continues to increase today. Changes in the structure of the international system and regional developments make the Organization increasingly important. It is not possible for states to cope alone with fundamental problems such as the economic effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, the energy and food crises deepened by the Ukraine-Russia conflict. In this context, the importance given to the Organization of Turkic States by Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which constitute the organization, is increasing. Each of the states forming the organization has strategic advantages. Turkeys regional power and Azerbaijans energy reserves can be given as examples. Therefore, it is important for the interests of every member state of the organization that states with strong sides in different issues join forces in an organization. In this study, the historical development of the Organization of Turkic States, which started with the Summit of Turkic Speaking States, was examined. The change of integration efforts in the Turkic World in the historical process has been analyzed. The aim of the study is to reveal the opportunities that the Turkic World has in acting together and to open a window for the studies to be done on this subject.

Türk Devletleri Teşkilatı, Avrasya coğrafyasında etkinliği giderek artan stratejik bir birliğe dönüşmektedir. Uluslararası sistemin her geçen gün değişen yapısı içerisinde bölgesel bütünleşme girişimlerinin önemi artmaktadır. Teşkilatı oluşturan devletlerin her birinin stratejik avantajları bulunmaktadır.
