Özet:

Türkiyes acceleration in foreign policy, energy, military industry, and tourism, as well as developing its relations with the Turkic Republics, Balkans, Caucasus, and Middle East, and its interaction with Western nations, have paved the way for its internationalization. Lately, Türkiye has been executing its vision of becoming an international actor in foreign policy. In this regard, Türkiye has begun to explain its policies, cultural aspects, and soft power features to international public opinion as a subject, particularly in geographic regions with which it has historical relations, with a pragmatic perspective. This research examines why and how Türkiye engages with international public opinion in the framework of public diplomacy, as well as the communication channels it employs and how they are utilized. Furthermore, Türkiyes statements to the international community, its neighbors and the Islamic world are discussed. The significance of the study lies in its ability to reveal the operational actions conducted at the institutional level in Türkiyes public diplomacy policies. Hence, Türkiye views public diplomacy as a complementary component of its foreign policy and seeks to revive cultural, historical and religious ties. Türkiye has begun implementing sustainable public diplomacy plans, using its soft power within the context of strategic communication.
