Özet:

The Tulip Era, which has become a de facto act of peace which has become a necessity for the state and the nation after long wars and losses, was a period without war, except for the struggles with Iran in the east. Friendly personalities and pro-peace policies of Sultan III. Ahmed Han and Sadrazam Nevşehirli Damat İbrahim Pasha were architects of this period, which is accepted as starting with the Pasarofça Treaty and ending with the Patrona Halil Rebellion. The understanding of peace that prevailed throughout the period was reflected in the poetry of the period. Especially the poem of Nedim, which is identified with the period, has been the poem of the Tulip Era. The splendor, entertainment and pleasure environment of the era formed the essence of Nedim's poems. The understanding of peace accepted by the state can be read from Nedim's poems. Especially in the qasidas he presented to the sultan and the sadrazam, the poet clearly expressed his satisfaction with the end of the wars and the peace environment that his memduhs provided.
In this study, it will be tried to determine the reflections of the understanding of peace in Nedim poetry through the concepts of “rezm” which is the projection of war and “bezm” which is the symbol of peace in divan poetry.

Özellikle dönem ile özdeşleşen Nedim’in şiiri bizzat Lale Devri’nin şiiri olmuştur. Devrin şaşaası, eğlence ve zevk ortamı Nedim’in şiirlerinin özünü oluşturmuştur. Devlet erkânınca kabul edilen sulh anlayışı da Nedim’in şiirlerinden okunabilmektedir.
