35 cases of tibial plateau fractures have been treated in the department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Şişli Etfal Hospital. 13 cases were females and 22 were males. The types of the cases were determined according to Hohl classification, that is, there were 6 cases of Type 1, 3 cases of Type II, 11 cases of Type III, 4 cases of Type IV, 1 case of Type V, 10 cases of Type VI. While 22 cases have been treated conservatively, 13 of cases were surgically treated. Pain, walking capacity, total range of knee motion and stabiIity formed the criteria of evaluation. Results of both treatment methods were found to be satisfactory.

 

Sağlık Bakanlığı Şişli Etfal Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniği'nde 1984-1990 yılları arasında 35 tibia plato kırığı olgusu tedavi edildi. Olguların 13'ü kadın, 22'si erkekti. Hohl sınıflamasına göre tiplendirilen 0lgulardan; 6 olgu Tip 1, 3 olgu Tip II, 11 olgu Tip III, 4 olgu Tip IV, 1 olgu Tip V, 10 olgu cerrahi olarak tedavi edildi. Değerlendirmede ağrı, yürüme kapasitesi, total diz hareketleri ve stabilite kriter olarak alındı. Her iki tedavi metodunun sonuçları tatminkar olarak bulundu.
