Özet:

The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between age levels and perceived social support levels of ski athletes. The population of the study consisted of 526 athletes actively participating in races. The sample group consisted of 154 athletes in the age range of 16,9163,975, randomly selected from this competitive group. Participants were asked to fill out a personal information form and the perceived social support scale found in the literature. The data obtained were analyzed in a computer environment with the package program SPSS 22.00. Pearson correlation analysis was applied to determine the relationships between the data. As a result, it was determined that there was a low negative correlation between the age levels of ski athletes and their perceived social support levels. This situation is thought to be due to the fact that ski athletes want to solve the difficulties they may encounter individually, rather than receiving social support, due to their personal development and increasing experience as they get older.
