Özet:

Quiet quitting is a current phenomenon and situation that has become popular in business life after the pandemic. Due to the rapid spread of this situation worldwide, it is likely to negatively affect both employees and organizations. Therefore, it is important to understand quiet quitting behavior, which is a relatively new concept. In this context, the concept of quiet quitting was discussed in this study and the quiet quitting scale developed by Anand et al. 2023 was adapted to Turkish. In the study, two different samples were used for adaptation. In the first sample, data were obtained from 102 service sector employees and preliminary acceptance validity and reliability analyses of the scale were performed. In the second sample, data were obtained from 154 employees from different sectors and analyses related to scale adaptation were performed. Data analyses were performed with SPSS and AMOS package programs. The findings showed that the 7-item Quiet Quitting Scale is appropriate for Turkish culture. Therefore, it was concluded that the quiet quitting scale, which meets the psychometric criteria, can be used in studies in Turkey and reliable and valid findings can be obtained with this scale.
