Özet:

Nilgün Marmara, who was born in Istanbul, could not be understood during her lifetime and as a result, she preferred to commit suicide due to her psychological problems. In the poetry of the 80s, it was stated by the researchers that the poet's well-being was not due to his mental problems, but rather the way the images in his poems were used. In this sense, the images used by the poet in the poems also comply with the requirements of the Indian style in the last period of our classical poetry. The images used by Nilgün Marmara compel the reader/listener to understand her poetry. So much so that the extraordinary concepts seen in the Indian style are found in almost every poem of the poet. Images such as pink lover, black noun, pink hopeful possibility, green scream can be shown as examples of concepts that can be called unconventional reconciliation of Turkish poetry. In this study, it will be tried to determine to what extent the poet makes use of colors while trying to understand the world of images and the importance of colors for the poet. While the work was being done, the tagging method was used and the colors used by the poet were classified. The obtained data were subjected to intertextuality and contextual method and the color world of Marmara was tried to be understood.
