Özet:

In the administrative policy of the Soviet Union, which was established by the union of many states as a result of the collapse of Tsarist Russia, each state in the union has the right to self-determination. Although this provision is valid within the framework of the law, the centralist structure is carried to an important point in the administration, especially after the death of Lenin. However, many writers, poets and thinkers belonging to the states in the Soviet Union address the national uniqueness of their state in their works and reflect their nationalist views in their works. In this respect, Yanka Kupala, who gave importance to national authenticity in the Soviet literature of the XXth century and wrote various works, is known as one of the poets who highlighted the Belarusian people, language and traditions in every aspect. In our study, the works of Yanka Kupala, who is known as the hero of nations for Belarusians, will be analysed in different genres in which he reflects the local elements of his nation and the longing for independence. The works, which will be analysed from a historical perspective, will be evaluated in terms of the conditions of the period, and the most prominent examples that highlight the poets ideology of nationalism and love for the nation will be included in the study.
