Özet:

Öz: Abstract: This study analyses the Late Hellenistic Early Roman ceramics recovered from the C4-5-6, D5-6 and E5-6 squares of the Kibyra Emperor Cult Temple Kaisarion, which was excavated for the first time in 2018. The ceramics dating to this period are analysed under four headings. The mould-made relief bowls were analysed in five different groups; pine cone imitation, floral decorated, long petal, figured and concentric semi-circular decorated bowls. On the other hand, body sherds decorated with paint on a light ground were identified as light ground ceramicslagynos. The vessels found for the first time in the city and decorated with dark coloured bands and floral decoration on a light ground were analysed under the title of unguentarium. Finally, one rim decorated in Western Slope Technique recovered from the site was described under the same title. As a result of the study, the locally produced mould-made relief bowls in the city were generally dated to the IInd Ist century B.C., the light ground ceramicslagynos to the IInd century B.C., the unguentarium sherds to the second half of the IInd century B.C.-early Ist century B.C. and the sherd decorated in the Western Slope Technique to the IInd-Ist century B.C. Kibyra coins dating from the IInd century B.C. recovered from the site also support the dating of these ceramics.

Çalışma sonucunda kentteki yerel üretim kalıp yapımı kabartmalı kâseler genel olarak MÖ II-I. yüzyıla, açık zeminli seramiklerlagynos MÖ II. yüzyıla, unguentarium parçaları MÖ II. yüzyılın ikinci yarısı- MÖ I. yüzyılın başına ve Batı Yamacı Tekniğinde bezenmiş parça ise MÖ II-I. yüzyıla tarihlendirilmiştir. Alandan ele geçen MÖ II. yüzyıla ait Kibyra sikkeleri de seramiklerin tarihlerini desteklemiştir.
