Özet:

The rapid increase in the world population and technological developments cause the unconscious consumption of resources in the world. So much so that the resources that are considered endless by people, unfortunately, cannot be renewed as quickly as the consumption made as a result of human activities. For this reason, the emerging concept of ecological footprint is a method developed to measure the impact of peoples production and consumption activities on ecosystems. In recent years, the concept of ecological footprint, raising awareness and reducing ecological footprint have gained importance. Although there are many studies on ecological footprint calculation and awareness in the literature, there are limited studies on examining trends towards ecological footprint reduction. The aim of the study is to evaluate the awareness of individuals working in the health sector about ecological footprint and their tendency to reduce ecological footprint.
