Özet:

As a reflection of the French Revolution in 1789, a very strong social and cultural interaction process took place between European and World countries in the 19th century, and during this period, nations, on the one hand, assimilated new thought movements born in different regions, and on the other hand, tended to protect their own cultural heritage and traditions. All these developments have brought magnificent richness to the world of art, literature and culture. One of the most intense cultural transitions during the said period took place in the lands under Polish sovereignty. It is a generally accepted fact that in the history of science and philosophy of Ukraine, the currents of thought that shed light on the developments in the fields of art, culture and literature have continuously reached Ukraine from Western Europe through Poland and from there moved towards the east.In line with historical developments, it is known that Poland played a dominant role in the structuring process of Ukrainian culture, both as a result of wars and uprisings and educational and cultural exchanges. The fact that Polish and Ukrainian nations have lived together for many years in the lands under the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth has been one of the most concrete reasons for such interaction. Ukrainian romantic literature, just like in Poland, was formed on the basis of a cultural organization approach that is closely tied to national traditions and customs and the nations conservative past, in order to fight against the attempts to destroy the Ukrainian state structure by completely subjugating it to the Russian Empire. The introduction of romantic poetry to Kazakh lands and Kazakh Ukraine by Polish romantic artists, including Adam Mickiewicz, in the early 19th century and the subsequent start of the literary school called Ukrainian School in Polish literature are very important steps in the development of Polish-Ukrainian cultural relations. Taras Shevchenko, Mykola Kostomarov and Hulak Artemowsky, among the leading representatives of Ukrainian romantic literature, are among the names in whose literary works the influence of Adam Mickiewicz is felt intensely.
