Özet:

This study aims to analyze social worker graduates perspectives, feelings, expectations, and perceptions toward the Association of Social Workers SHUDER and identify both positive and negative aspects of the associations development. The data from semi-structured interviews with 18 social workers were analyzed using a phenomenological approach and MAXQDA 22 software. Ethics committee approval was obtained, and participants provided permission through a voluntary participation form. As a result of the analysis, three themes emerged: the meaning of professional organization, the perspective on the current organization, and suggestions and wishes for professional organization. The findings indicate that the participants recognize the significance of social work in social transformation and the importance of professional organization. However, they also need some help with the current processes. The participants were aware that being organized would increase their sanction power, suggesting the massification of SHUDER and increasing the organization. This study contributes significantly to understanding social workers perspectives on professional organizations. The findings suggest several recommendations for SHUDERs development and increasing the social impact of social work. It is concluded that implementing various regulations and improvements will help enhance the associations effectiveness and meet social worker expectations.
