Özet:

Pandemic causes a difficult process that deeply shakes human life in every age and changes the way of life of people. The most important feature of this period is the hopelessness and boredom in human beings and increasing questioning of the purpose of existence and the objective world with the emergence of the fact of death. This questioning is very essential as it determines the purpose of life, whether life is worth living, the possibility of freedom, and ultimately what kind of roadmap to choosing in life despite all the negativities. In this study, initially the effects of epidemics on human life that came into prominence until Covid-19 outbreak will be briefly discussed within this context. Then the changes in human life during the Covid-19 period and their effects on peoples behaviours will be examined. From this point of view, the concept of death, which is considered more in the covid-19 period from the perspective of Camus, and the absurdity of the relationship between man and the world, and the limitation of human freedom will be discussed. Then, based on Camuss book The Plague, it will be analyzed how he presented a life guide to people in the days of the plague. The aim of the study is how should we live? with the concept of freedom and rebellion within the framework of the absurdity of life for Camus during the pandemic Covid-19 period will be examined the question.
