Özet:

The subject of this article is the themes addressed in Surah al-Mulk, which is the 67th surah of the Holy Quran, Holy Quran, along with the evaluations of rhetoric scholars and commentators regarding its verses, and their assessments of how these verses relate to the sub-branches of rhetorical science. The main theme of Surah al-Mulk is the existence of Allah, His dominion over the universe with a particular focus on the afterlife. Rhetoric is defined as the eloquent and contextually appropriate expression of spoken words, divided into three branches: maânî, bayân, and badî. It is divided into three parts: meânî, beyân and bedî. This study initially examines the overarchingoverall messages of Surah al-Mulk, the central topics it emphasizes, and the goals it seeks to accomplish. The study reveals that Surah al-Mulk encompasses verses relevant to all major branches of rhetorical science. Furthermore, it highlights that verses containing expressions of resignation in Surah al-Mulk emphasize the creative attributes of Almighty Allah, underscoring His infinite power and might, while demonstrating that imaginary deities in human minds lack the ability to grant benefits or prevent harm. While directing the human mind to contemplate the realm of existence, the surah clearly aims to uphold human honor and dignity as its sole purpose.
