Özet:

Safe motherhood and health care are concepts at the centre of life. Of great importance both for womens decent work and productivity and for the survival of mother and baby, these concepts are today essentially beyond the reach of countless women. The same is true for the promise of a healthy childhood for their babies. In essence, maternity protection is at the centre of efforts to ensure the rights, health and economic security of mothers and families. Maternity protection aims not only to protect the health of the mother and her newborn baby, but also to maintain the mothers job security protection against dismissal and discrimination, re-employment after childbirth, and wages and other benefits during maternity leave, which runs concurrently with working life. There is no doubt that all the rights mentioned in relation to maternity status are related to the right to life, which is the right to human existence. In addition to the right to life, we can associate many fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution with many rights that will come to the agenda depending on the maternity status.
