Özet:

The perception of fate is a situation related to how the individual attributes meaning to fate and how much he attributes it when explaining life events. This situation is addressed in three basic ways: the Mutazila, the Cebriyye and the Ehl-i Sunnet perception of fate. The aim of the research is to examine the relationship between these three perception and psychological well-being. The study was designed according to the relational screening design. The sample of the study is 914 people and the Fate Perception Scale and Psychological Well-being Scales-42 were used in the study. As a result of the research, a negative significant relationship was found between the Cebriyye perception of fate and the total score of psychological well-being; a positive significant relationship was found between the Ehl-i Sunnet perception of fate and the total score of psychological well-being, while no significant relationship was found between the Mutazila perception of fate and the total score of psychological well-being.
