It is known that scientific studies have been conducted on violin players who are considered as schools in Turkish music literature. However, many names who have mastered the performance of contemporary Turkish music could not be studied. In this context, it is thought that there is no scientific study on the Turkish music violin player Baki Kemancı, and in this respect, it is important in terms of contributing to the important living master performers of Turkish music, future researches, the tradition of Turkish music performers and Turkish music violin performance and being a reference. Transl In the research, the life and music education process, performance and composition of violinist Baki Kemancı, who has an important place among Turkish music violin performers, were discussed. As a result of the research, it is possible to say that violinist Baki Kemancı received his violin education in a family environment in which about three generations of violin players played violin, in a master-apprentice meşk relationship passed down from grandfather to grandchild, in this context, he knows the Turkish music performer tradition well in every aspect, has a unique and unique performance attitude among todays violin performers with his stage and composition works, and sets an example for future generations with both his reflection of tradition and his synthesis performance approach.
