Özet:

In today’s
increasing competitive market conditions, it has become vitally important to
identify customer needs and expectations and develop right strategies. In
production sector many quantitative methods can be used for achieving quality,
as for firms operating in service sector applying Quality Function Deployment
(QFD) within the Total Quality Management framework for adjusting service
process according to customer needs and expectations is appropriate method. In
this research, QFD approach is used for a GSM operator in the Telecom industry.
At the initial phase, customer expectations are identified through focus group
method, than a survey having questions around these expectations is conducted
on GSM subscribers. In the following phase, technical information is gathered
through meeting with authorities from the GSM operator. Based on results of the
analyses, House of Quality is created within the QFD framework, comparative
weaknesses and strengths of enterprises for meeting customer expectations are
identified and recommendations to the GSM operator for improving their services
to increase customer satisfaction are given.

gerçekleştirilmesinde rahatlıkla kullanılabilecek pek çok sayısal yöntem mevcuttur;
