Özet:

In this study, the religious perceptions, lives and behaviors of Afghan Uzbek immigrants who have migrated from Afghanistan to Turkey in the last forty-three years, as well as their sociocultural changes were investigated. The research has a qualitative design and interview technique was used in the research. Ten participants from different provinces were interviewed. The participants migrated to Turkey for reasons such as war, life anxiety and marriage. The reason why they chose Turkey is that they see themselves close to Turkey in terms of their Muslim identity and ethnicity. The participants were tried to obtain data on cultural change by asking questions about adaptation and satisfaction with Turkey, longing for the country, expectations for the future, standard of living, difficulties in the migration process, traditions and cultures, neighborhoods, social and spiritual support, polygamy and addiction; An attempt was made to obtain data on religious change by asking questions such as religious education, religious life and religious coping. In the study, it was found that migrants were satisfied with Turkey and did not think of returning to their country. However, even though they adapted to Turkey, it can be said that they created subcultures with their own ethnic groups and chose the integration strategy.

Farklı illerden on katılımcıyla görüşme yapılmıştır.
