Özet:

Gender stereotypes completely separate men and women from each other and announce women as the other. Afterward, it reveals stereotypes of femininity and masculinity. Feminism fights this perception. Because, in this perception put forward by the patriarchal ideology, the man is seen as superior to the woman, and the belief that he needs men is presented by being weakened. Therefore, when the woman, who is expected to obey the man, refuses to submit, she is excluded by the patriarchal ideology. Accordingly, while the ideology in question separates women as good and bad women, it does not feel the need to characterize men. Challenging this situation of inequality reveals feminist thinking. Lilith, the first woman for feminism, is considered a classic. Because Lilith put her independence above all else and refused to be dominated by a man. From this point of view, in the study, in which the film 9 Kere Leyla will be analyzed in the context of feminism and the Lilith legend, the aim of the study is to reveal whether the film carries criticism of gender inequality from a feminist perspective. Determining what these criticisms are and how they are presented constitutes the problem of the study. In the study, in which the movie 9 Kere Leyla was chosen as a sample, the method of feminist film analysis was used. In the study, it was concluded that feminism has existed since the first woman and the main problem is not whether the woman is under the domination of the man or not, but the mentality of the man.
