Özet:

The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which first emerged in China at the end of 2019 and rapidly spread worldwide, have been seen both nationally and internationally. The research focuses on the COVID-19 pandemic, which has social, economic and political effects. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on global health regimes and the role of the World Health Organization WHO in fighting against the global crisis caused by the pandemic are examined. The findings show that the WHO was inadequate in the context of controlling the spread of the pandemic in question. The limited impact of WHO in the management of the COVID-19 pandemic process shows that the role the organization plays in crisis management must be enhanced especially with the involvement of epistemic communities.
