Özet:

In the article, according to the Kameral description of 1831, the borders, territory and demographic situation of Daralayaz kaza of Nakhchivan province were investigated by comparative, statistical and other methods. According to the 1831 Kameral description, on the eve of the Russian occupation, 94.5 per cent of the population of Darelayaz kaza were Muslims and 5.5 per cent were Christians Armenians. However, after the Russian occupation, as a result of the transfer of Armenians from the Ottoman and Gajar provinces to the district, their number was artificially increased to 36.4, while the number of Muslim families decreased to 63.6. However, even after the transfer of Armenians to the district, Muslims had an indisputable superiority in the district.

Məqalədə 1831-ci il kameral təsvirinə görə Naxçıvan əyalətinin Dərələyəz mahalının sərhədləri, ərazisi və demoqrafik vəziyyəti müqayisəli, statistik və digər metodlardan istifadə olunmaqla araşdırılmışdır. 1831-ci ilin kameral təsvirinə görə Rusiya işğalı ərəfəsində Dərələyəz mahalında müsəlmanlar əhalinin 94,5-ni, xristianlar ermənilər isə 5,5-ni təşkil etmişdir. Lakin Rusiya işğalından sonra ermənilərin Osmanlı və Qacarlar dövlətindən köçürülərək mahala yerləşdirilməsinin nəticəsi olaraq onların sayı süni surətdə artırılaraq 36,4-ə çatdırılmış, müsəlman ailələrinin sayı isə azalaraq 63,6-nə enmişdir. Buna baxmayaraq ermənilərin mahala köçürülməsindən sonra belə mahalda müsəlmanlar şəksiz üstünlüyə malik olmuşlar.
