Özet:

Migration is, to put it simply, a movement of displacement. People move to new places of residence with their bodies, cultural and material capital, and reshape the spatial distribution of that place. More than 60 of international migrations in the world are labor migrations. These migrations are usually from developing countries to developed countries. Within the country, on the other hand, migrations are mostly from the countryside to the city or from the city to the larger city. Although these migration movements are successful, some problems that come with migration await migrants. Governmentality that normalizes migrants as an unwanted element, spatial, environmental and social injustice as a result of the disadvantaged difference they experience compared to other segments, discrimination based on race and place of residence due to being different, immigrants ethnosizing which is a problem of adaptation, spatial segregation, wage theft and manipulative contract, brain waste that means highly educated migrants cannot use their full potential, social reproduction material gene and the matta effect that guarantee the sustainability of the system, economic exploitation in the migration industry are some of these problems. In this study, the movement of migrant labor has been expressed with migration theories and current findings, and the problems encountered with the end of the migration movement have been explained. This study was written in order to determine the spatial movement-distribution and problems of migrant labor. The research seeks answers to the questions What is the structure of the spatial distribution of migrant labor? and What problems does migrant labor face?.
