Özet:

In this study, the reportages collected in Journalist-Author Suat Dervişs Collapsed Istanbul Çöken İstanbul were analyzed descriptively. They were published in the newspapers of Cumhuriyet, Son Posta and Tan in the 1930s. The main purpose of the study is to promote the relevant interviews, to reveal their features and to connect their relation with journalism genres. According to the main thesis, the reportages in question have the characteristics of reportages and some types of journalism. A total of 76 reportages, consisting of 7 episodes and published in serials, were analyzed. According to some results of the study, reportages provide subject difference and have the feature of subjectivity. They are also problem-focused and active reportages. In addition to these, there is descriptive narration in the reportages. Moreover, reportages correspond to eyewitness journalismreporting and people-oriented journalismreporting. The study includes only the 76 reportages in the authors book Collapsed Istanbul Çöken İstanbul. However, it is thought that it will contribute to the recognition of the reportage in the field of communication in Turkey.
