Özet:

The Battle of Austerlitz and the Great Offensive are among the decisive battles in world history. These two wars are also two of the brightest achievements in the careers of Napoleon Bonaparte and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, two of the most important soldiers and statesmen in world history. Both wars were fought by well-trained armies and won great victories. In these wars, the two commanders managed to implement plans that involved great risks and were extremely difficult to implement. These plans brought great victories to the Grande Armee and the Turkish Army. In both wars, the victors won decisive victories against armies that were superior to them in terms of numbers and equipment, or against armies of the same strength. At the same time, the winners of the two wars suffered very few casualties, while their enemies paid heavy prices. After the Battle of Austerlitz, Napoleon dissolved the Third Coalition and gained a significant amount of territory for France. After the Great Offensive, the Turkish Army managed to expel the invaders from their homeland and Turkeys independence was permanently secured. At the same time, the road to Ataturks revolutions was opened. The aim of this study is to examine and compare the brightest victories in the military careers of Napoleon Bonaparte and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. In this study, the Battle of Austerlitz and the Great Offensive were examined from a military perspective. The political consequences of the two wars and their effects on the careers of the commanders who led the war were evaluated.
