Özet:

The logistics sector is important for a country to achieve sustainable development goals. There are not many tools to evaluate logistics efficiency at the country level. LPI Logistics Performance Index is a comparison tool used by managers and decision makers in the logistics sector, created to identify the potential challenges and opportunities that countries may face in their trade logistics performance. G7 countries play an important role in terms of logistics performance as major players in the world economy. The main purpose of the study is to analyze and rank the logistics performance values of G7 countries using PSI Preference Selection Index and COBRA COmprehensive Distance Based Ranking which are known and introduced in the literature. The data used in the study was taken from the LPI report published by the World Bank in 2023. In the study, G7 countries were analyzed by integrating the PSI and COBRA methods from the MCDM methods. The PSI method was used in the evaluation of the criteria weights, and the COBRA method was used in the ranking of the alternatives. According to the results of the PSI method, the criterion with the highest level of importance was determined as the timeliness criterion, while the criterion with the lowest level of importance was determined as the infrastructure criterion. As a result of the COBRA method analysis, Germany was determined to be the country with the best logistics performance among the G7 countries, while the country with the worst logistics performance was determined as the England. Keywords: Logistics Performance, MCDM, LPI, PSI, COBRA.
