Özet:

Today, the increase in symbolic consumption has also become visible in media texts. Thats why, symbols of social class began to be used more in these texts. The subject has been turned into a field of study by social scientists and television texts and class domination began to be examined in a common framework. One of the prime issues for Bourdieu, who has worked in many fields such as literature, art, politics and gender studies, is undoubtedly social class. According to Bourdieu, the struggle for class and habitus lies at the root of many social things including media texts. Therefore, the theoretical framework of the study is Bourdieus concepts of class, habitus and taste. Within the framework of these concepts, the movie Aaahh Belinda, which was released on Netflix in 2023, was examined and an analysis was made with Bourdieus class analysis.
