This study was conducted to reveal the platforms the students studying at Yozgat Bozok University Health Services Vocational School obtained digital health information during the Covid-19 process. 780 students studying at Yozgat Bozok University Health Services Vocational School were applied the introductory information form prepared by the authors and Health Information Acquisition and Confirmation Scale in Digital Media prepared by Çömlekçi, M.F. and Bozkanat, E., in 2021. 69.7 of the study consisted of women, and 91.2 of the participants stated that they did not have a serious health problem. It was observed that the most frequently used social media platform by the participants was Instagram with 40.8. The mean score of the participants on the Obtaining and Confirming Health Information in Digital Media Scale was found to be 28.43217.71852. The mean score of Web 1.0 and Obtaining Health Information sub-dimension was 8.64102.71909, 8.05512.97327 for Web 2.0 and Obtaining Digital Health Information sub-dimension, and 11.73593.96188 for Digital Confirmation sub-dimension. As a result of the study, it was observed that the search for health information in the digital media increased during the Covid-19 pandemic process. This leads to access to incorrect information. This emerging situation shows that there is a need for raising awareness of individuals about what they should pay attention to while confirming the information they reached.
