Özet:

Some of the mecmuas miscellanies classified as manuscript works also include texts from folk literature. The mecmua evaluated in this article is a text containing both verse and prose examples of folk literature. This work, which appears to have been written in different scripts, features prose texts of various contents such as folk tales, riddles tongue twisters, folk medicine, religious prayers, examples of official correspondence, and letter samples. In the verse sections, there are poems by poets such as Nesîmî, Fuzûlî, Âşık Garib, Âşık Ömer, Niyâzî, Seyrânî, Şemî, and Şemsî, with most of them belonging to Âşık Dertli. In terms of its content, this work does not differ from an ordinary cönk folk poetry notebook; however, it places considerable emphasis on Âşık Dertlis poems. No record exists regarding the date when the text was written. Nevertheless, taking into account the eras in which the poets whose works it contains lived, it can be concluded that this mecmua was compiled during the second half of the nineteenth century. In this article, Dertlis poems in the mecmua are compared with their published versions. Thus, a comparative evaluation of these poems will be conducted, contributing to the existing literature.
