Zaheer Allam, Stan CM Geertman and Tan Yiğitcanlar are among the authors with the highest number of publications. University of Utrecht, University College London and Queensland University of Technology are the top-performing institutions in terms of producing scholarly works. The most prevalent journals in the literature are Sustainability, Cities, and Sustainable Cities and Society. As a consequence of the bibliometric analysis, researchers in the field were provided with structured literature.
