Özet:

al-Hakim al-Djushamis al-Tahdhib stands out as the most comprehensive Mutazilite tafsir that has endured. Meanwhile, Zamakhsharis al-Kashshaf is regarded as a masterpiece, conveying linguistic subtleties and serving as a foundational source for other tafsirs. These tafsirs gain significance due to the Mutazilite identity of their respective authors. Certain sources indicate that al-Zamakhshari drew influence from al-Djushami, suggesting that his al-Kashshaf is a simplified rendition of al-Tahdhib. Conversely, other mufassirs argue that, just as al-Zamakhshari takes al-Djushamis work as a primary source, al-Zamakhsharis al-Kashshaf is rooted in al-Djushamis work. Some sources assert that al-Zamakhshari produced two tafsirs: al-Kashshaf al-Qadim and al-Kashshaf al-Jadid. However, a comparative analysis of al-Tahdhib and al-Kashshaf in terms of narration might lead to misleading conclusions. The two tafsirs are similar enough to reach the original source of most of the views conveyed in al-Kashshaf through al-Tahdhib. Al-Zamakhshari crafted his tafsir based on the sciences of maânî and beyân, lending it a unique character in terms of exegesis. Notably, al-Zamakhshari, in a previous study, expressed concerns about its length, leading to the inference that he might have deliberately omitted citing sources in al-Kashshaf.
