Özet:

The golden age of the political and economic power of the Kingdom of Georgia dates back to the reign of King Davit IV and Queen Tamar. Political stability and economic prosperity in the golden age, the strength of the army, military successes in this period increased the influence of Georgias power in the region and ensured the golden age of the kingdom. King Davit IV settled the Kipchak remnants about 200 thousand inhabitants in the region during the Agmashenebeli period and formed an ever-ready army per family. This was the basis for the first regular army experiments of the Georgian Kingdom. Georgias geographical location intensified its commercial, social and cultural relations with other countries throughout the Middle Ages. The structure and equipment of the army was one of the important factors determining the power of Georgia at that time. Georgias war equipment differed in various periods. However, in general, traditional weapons such as swords, spears, bows and arrows were widely used. The fact that Georgia is a country between East and West has made it inevitable for it to be influenced by different cultures and for this interaction to be reflected in the design of weapons and equipment. In this study, the structure of the army and the war equipment used will be analysed.

Gürcistan Krallığının siyasi ve ekonomik gücünün altın çağı Kral IV. Davit ve Kraliçe Tamar dönemine dayanır. Altın çağda siyasi istikrar, ekonomik refah ve ordunun gücü bu dönemdeki askerî başarılar Gürcistanın gücünü bölgede artırmış, krallığın altın çağının yaşamasını sağlamıştır. Kral IV.
