Özet:

This study offers an in-depth examination of faith-centered issues and their relationship with thought currents such as deism and atheism. It is well-known that the inherent belief in a deity and the quest for spiritual satisfaction in human nature cannot be fulfilled by modern thought currents like atheism and deism. The conflict known as the struggle between truth and falsehood, stemming from the reality that humans have faced faith-related issues throughout history, is a process that has continued from the inception of humanity to the present day. From a scientific perspective, the effects of faith principles religious beliefs on human psychology and sociology are complex and multifaceted. Similarly, it is important to evaluate the impact of thought systems like atheism and deism on individuals mental health and the meaning of life. This study aims to provide a broad perspective on faith-centered issues and the relationship between atheism and deism by conducting an in-depth analysis of existing information within scientific terminology. It is expected that the research will inspire further studies on faith-centered issues and related thought currents. Since human nature tends to believe in a supreme creator, individuals may find themselves more inclined to accept deism over atheism. Therefore, deism can be seen as a bridge to atheism or as the first step towards it. The lack of belief in the afterlife in deism and its rejection of concepts such as prophecy, revelation, and nubuwwah also constitute common ground with atheism. This study also aims to analyze the common and different aspects of deism and atheism in depth, examining the effects of religious beliefs and philosophical approaches on human life and thought. This investigation into the closeness and permeability between deism and atheism will help better understand the place and importance of religious beliefs in individuals lives.
