Özet:

It is seen that fan groups that shape their structures in line with the interests of the teams they are affiliated with and come together and interact for certain purposes have created their own traditions over time. Fenerbahçe fan group It shows a group characteristic that emerges as the carrier of a tradition and produces verbal, written and visual productions, exhibiting common behavioral patterns in the face of events. It is understood that the fan group is shaped by the productions that are material for the fan folklore with their pre-match and post-match rituals, banners, chants, choreographies, and the products they wear on their bodies. In this study, we focused on the adapted chants of the Fenerbahçe team and its fans, which are among the important teams of Turkish football. The chants that are the subject of our article consist of one-on-one interviews, direct observations and compila-tions, and the results obtained from the electronic culture environment during the process of our ongoing doctoral thesis. It is seen that the chants we have identified are basically shaped by making use of the products of Turkish classical music, Arabesque music, Turkish pop music and folk literature. It is important to address the chants that emerge as a produc-tive area in the production of Fenerbahçe fans, who display a group characteristic, and their formation processes, because this reveals the similarity in the chant production process that we encounter in fan groups around the world. Addressing this phenomenon in the context of the Fenerbahçe fan group and in a general context provides data to understand the ways in which fan groups produce and shape their productivity.
