Özet:

By the decision taken at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly on 12 September 2023, declaring 2024 as the 300th Anniversary of the Birth of Makhtumkuli Firaghî by UNESCO and adding approximately 80 manuscripts in the Turkmenistan Manuscripts Institute to the World Cultural Heritage List; It enabled the literary heritage of the poet, who also had a mystical and contemplative personality, to be re-examined by scientific circles. In this context, scientific preparations on the subject started a year ago by the press and publishing institutions of Turkmenistan and continue with various events held both at home and abroad and documentary shootings about the poets life. In our country, three books and a special issue about the poet were published in the first five months of this year. In the article; The poets mystical aspect, the intellectual foundations of the independent Republic of Turkmenistan, the madrasahs where he studied, and his manuscripts are mentioned through his literary heritage. To be particularly specific, the main axis of this study consists of Makhtumkulis poems that have not yet been published in Turkmenistan divan publications. Field research was conducted with the support of TÜBITAK, and in this context, many information and documents were obtained from important cultural centers of the Turkish-Islamic civilization such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Andijan. As a result of these travels, we have identified records indicating that the poet received education at the Andijan Juma Madrasa in the Fergana region. Important resource persons such as Yagşıgeldi Seyitniyazov, who lives in Mahtumkulu Village of Birûnî district of Karakalpakstan, and Qurbon Muhammadrizo, a writer from Khwarezm, were interviewed and maps showing the possible places the poet visited were obtained. In addition, academic studies conducted in the field of Uzbekistan were carefully examined and 58 poems of the poet, unknown in Turkmenistan, were found. The comparison made on divans is mainly based on the source named Magtymguly-Eserler Ýygyndysy published in two volumes in Turkmen Turkish and Bulbul Nolasi, Maxtumquli Turkmaniston: Saylanma, Maxtumquli Sherlari, Dunyo Otib Boradir, Sharq Mumtoz Sheriyati Durdonalari-Maxtumquli Dunyo Otib Boradir published in Uzbek Turkish.
